"This photo booklet is a remake of NT01, NT02, and NT03, originally published in 2013–2014, dismantled and reconstructed from the perspective of 2026.
Tama New Town, where the first residents moved in in 1971 as part of a major urban development project by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, is almost my contemporary. I was born in 1969. The original planned population was 300,000. Clusters of apartment buildings and pedestrian walkways separated from vehicular traffic stretch endlessly across the yato valleys of the Tama Hills."
