スマホゲームの中でも、位置ゲーと言われるポケモンGOはプレイヤー（ポケモントレーナー）のリアルな位置情報を使い、現実にその場所へ足を運ぶことでプレイできる。ゲーム内ではアバターとなっているトレーナーたちが馴染みのポケストップ（ゲーム内スポット）でプレイしているリアル世界のランドスケープとポートレート作品。撮影対象者はtwitterで募集した。

Pokémon GO is a smartphone game often described as a location-based game, in which play is made possible by using the player’s real-world location data and physically visiting actual places.
In the game, trainers appear as avatars, but this series depicts the real-world landscapes and portraits of trainers playing at their familiar PokéStops (in-game locations).
The photographed participants were recruited via Twitter.
