This series began while the artist was starting work in product photography for e-commerce, and focuses on late-night logistics observed through repeated nighttime drives along expressways.
The photographs document the expressway network in western Tokyo, including the then newly opened Ken-O Expressway and the under-construction Shin-Tomei Expressway, as well as complex interchanges and junctions built along the foothills of the Kanto Mountains. Also depicted are trucks and trailers parked at service and parking areas, their drivers resting during the night.
